Fall 2020 Exhibit Opening | From I-Ching to Manga: UCI’s East Asian Collection Celebrating 30 Years

The UCI Libraries announce the opening of a new exhibit, From I-Ching to Manga: UCI's East Asian Collection Celebrating 30 Years. This virtual exhibit celebrates the thirty year anniversary of the establishment of the East Asian Collection – highlighting treasures from the past.

The exhibit opening speaker will be UCI History Professor Yong Chen, who will share how he uses the UCI East Asian Collection in research. In addition to doing research and teaching history, Professor Chen is the School of Humanities' Associate Dean of Curriculum and Student Services and author of Chop Suey, USA: The Story of Chinese Food in America and Arts and Traditions of the Table: Perspectives on Culinary History.

A zoom link will be emailed to registered participants. The first 100 households to register will receive a gift from the UCI Libraries; address must be provided during registration.
