Is it possible to have a textbook that is customizable to your needs, accessible on the first day of class, and affordable for students? The answer is YES! Join the UCI Libraries to learn more about Open Educational Resources (OER) and other Affordable Course Materials that can reduce course costs for your students. Studies have shown students who use OER find them to be accessible, relevant, and engaging. In this workshop, attendees will learn where to find these free and affordable options that significantly lessen the burden of cost for their students. This workshop will be held online, and is free and open to UCI faculty, staff, and graduate students.
