Getting Started with Open Educational Resources: How it Helps You & Your Students

Online

This workshop will cover the basics of Open Educational Resources. Attendees will learn how to identify OERs, know where to source them, and how to utilize them in their classes. They will also gain an understanding of how impactful it is for their students academically and holistically to adopt an OER.

Every time a faculty member or instructor adopts open educational resources (OER), we cut textbook costs just a little more, which translates to greater access to education. By working to adopt OER, you will be able to use the learning resources that best meet your course outcomes while saving your students money.
